Loosing my brain

It is official, I have finally hit the point of doing absolutely too much. When one has been working 8 hours a day, schooling her kids, and remolding a home, not to mention planning a wedding in another state, and trying to figure out what needs to be done to move to that state....Im on overload

I'd cry if I could, but Im too tired. I've been scrapping. Scrapping? Yes scrapping, scrapping, and trimming. The house is going to be painted this weekend. Cool, another off my 101 list too, but something I have waited, lets see how long have I lived in this house???, oh yes 18 years! for!!!
I'm so excited!

Dennis will fly out Friday and we paint on Saturday. Of course not just paintbrush style paint, no no, no respectable man would paint with a paint brush so I'm told, I had to be a power sprayer to paint...yep, I am not the proud owner of a Wagner something or other. Who cares, I'm still busy trying to get the house ready to be painted. Two story home with a eaves that has probably gone over 20 years without being painted. Yes, there is dry rot in it, but whatever the inspector didn't find, we are going to PAINT....and paint it good! Its funny, Dennis doesn't want me to pick out the paint by myself. See me the efficient one wants to have it all ready, but whats the deal with men having to hit Home Depot before they do something. It think its just an unwritten code... don't you? I tried to argue with him, "hun, its not like we are going to live in this house together??" But ok, if that's what my man wants, I think I learned this one a long time ago, Ill give him that :)

All the damaged by termite wood has been redone, the front complete rebuilt, sides of the house all trimmed up, windows mostly trimmed, a few more to do, but they are the tall ones and I really really hate standing on a ladder. My father came over and redid the electrical mess, fixed a water pipe leak, yes for those who know me, you can only imagine my face as that broke and the fun that made, but it didn't get in the house...praise God!

This week a big spot in the back that use to have a door in it will be sided up, and a door for crawling under the house rebuilt. The roof will be attacked in one more spot and who knows what else I can find for him to fix for me :)

I learned how to caulk the tubs this week. Yuck! I decided I didn't like that project, but I did the kitchen and liked how that came out. I have more to do inside but for now the outside has me busy, scrapping paint. My poor neck, Ill never be the same after this!
